Important information before your appointment in our podiatry practice
To ensure that your podiatry treatment runs smoothly and that we have enough time for your individual complaints, we ask you to note a few points before your first visit:
1. what you should bring to the treatment
Please come with clean feet and, if available, bring current medical documents or findings with you. Wear your usual everyday shoes - this will enable us to better assess whether your foot problems may be caused by unsuitable footwear and, if necessary, give you recommendations for more suitable footwear.
2 What is a medical prescription?
A medical prescription is a form issued by a doctor with which you can receive podiatric therapy - e.g. for the treatment of nail changes, callus problems or ingrown nails. This prescription is issued by your general practitioner, diabetologist, dermatologist or orthopaedist - especially for medical foot problems such as diabetes mellitus with neuropathy or angiopathy.
A prescription may also be required for treatment with nail braces (e.g. for ingrown nails). It is best to talk to your doctor about this and point out the possibility of complex podiatric treatment or nail clasp correction.
Important: The prescription must not be older than 28 days at the time of the first treatment appointment.
3. treatment contract and data protection - prepare now
To shorten waiting times, you can fill out our treatment contract and data protection declaration at home before your appointment.
If you are unable to print out the forms, you can of course also obtain them from us on site
