Diagnosis groups & ICD‑10 codes at a glance

For the prescription to be valid, it must contain a matching combination of diagnosis group and ICD-10 code – plus leading symptoms and remedy. For DF, NF and QF, podiatric therapy is only possible without skin lesions (Wagner grade 0); if there are open wounds or inflammation, we will contact you.

What the prescription needs

So that your patients can start without queries, please make sure the remedy prescription form (Muster 13) includes:

  • a matching combination of diagnosis group and ICD-10 code – see the overview above
  • leading symptoms
  • remedy (e.g. complex podiatric treatment or nail correction brace)
  • number of treatments and frequency
  • if applicable, “urgent need for treatment”

Treatment must start within 28 days of issue, or within 14 days if urgent. If anything is missing, we will get in touch briefly by phone or fax.
